ABOUT ME
I am a freelance Lighting Designer and Associate based in London, UK, exploring the world of live entertainment through stage lighting design.
Originally from a small town in Denmark, I came to London in 2014 to study where I obtained a first class degree from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in Theatre Lighting Design and since then have worked on various productions, predominantly theatre, dance and immersive experiences.
I am particularly interested in devised, collaborative work with a strong design-led narrative and creating immersive experiences for the audiences to drown in. Theatre is a way to share consciousness and I am constantly seeking how to tell grand stories with the least amount of strokes, inviting the audiences to participate with their own imagination.
My work has been nominated for Off West End Award’s Best Lighting Design and in 2018 I won the ETC Award for Excellence in Lighting Design.
I am proficient in Vectorworks (2D/3D), AutoCAD(2D), Rhino and Cinema4D and have experience in drafting lighting plans for shows of all scales and complexities.
